Mr. Glen Jackson Title I 

He graduated from Northeast State Community College in '72 with A. S. degree and graduated from Auburn University '74 with B. S. in History. He earned a  Master's Degree from Alabama A & M in '95. Mr. Jackson earned the title  "Highly Qualified" in AL. Mr. Jackson taught History for 41 years in Jackson County, Al. He also coached, and served as Assistant Principal. Mr. Jackson lives in Flat Rock, AL. He enjoys weight training, coin collecting, and playing golf. Joshua 24:15

Mrs. Wanda K. Beck, Grades 3-8 and Principal

Mrs. Beck graduated from Southern Adventist University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. She graduated from Loma Linda University, CA with Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She holds an Administrators License and Small School specialist license. Mrs. Beck has more than 30 years experience. She has two grown children. Mrs. Beck enjoys reading, teaching Sabbath School, swimming, camping and international travel. Her favorite text is Prov. 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your path.

 

 

 

Ms. Nytta Norton, Music Theory and Piano Lessons

She graduated from Covenant College, Lookout Mt TN. has taught piano for 50+ years. Ms. Norton performs with three musical groups: Scenic City Chorale, Chattanooga community Orchestra, and Aldergate vibrations ( a bell ringer group). She served in the mission field in Chiapas, Mexico for many years.

Proverbs 3:6 is her favorite Bible verse."In All thy ways acknowledge Him and He will direct thy path."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mrs Monda Fahsholtz, Pre-kindergarten

Monda Fahsholtz is the Floral Crest School Pre-K teacher, retired nurse and artist. Married with six adult children Monda enjoys nature, walking, reading, and being creative.

One of Mrs.Fahsholtz favorite Bible verses is Hebrews 4:16( NKJV) "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

It is a priviledge to work with the little ones and help them to learn more about Jesus.

 

 

 

Ms. Ann Arquitt, Kindergarten- Second Grade

Mrs. Arquitt graduated from Southern Adventist University with a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education. She also holds a Master's Degree from Andrews University in Reading. She has 30+ years of experience. She is the mother of three grown boys. She enjoys nature and swimming.

 

 

Mrs. Laura Ringer  Choir

Mrs. Laura has been teaching children for 40+ years in Jackson County, AL. She is origianlly from North Carolina, however she came to AL in 1966 and calls Sand Mt home. She is dedicated to the Lord and expresses that love to the children. She has four grown children, two boys and two girls. 

 

 

Mrs. Sharon McKee Brooks, Tutor Grades 1-3

Mrs. Brooks was born and raised in Collegedale, TN She graduated from Southern Adventist University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and Home Economics. She began teaching in January 1970. She has completed 42 years of fulltime teaching in the Seventh-day Adventist school system. Mrs. Brooks specializes in one room schools. Since retiring she and her husband, Gene, moved to Bryant, AL. She volunteers at Floral Crest School. Her favorite Bible text is Romans 8:28 " All things will work together for good to them that love God." Mrs. Brooks enjoys reading, needle craft, activities that involve children such as Pathfinders and AdventurerClub.  Her passion is children and helping them to succeed. She says, "I love Floral Crest School and all those who are teachers, students, or volunteers there. It is my goal to help this school as long as the Lord gives me the strenght and ability."
